Rare Victorian Heart Charm Locket Embossed Curb Chain Bracelet. Locket charm bracelets of this sort are delightful and hard-to-find treasures. The smooth finished heart locket is hand engraved MD and has two round photos spots with original frames and celluloid. The fancy embossed curb link chain is decorated with alternating links with scroll and star decoration. Even the box clasp is decorated with an engraved geometric design.
Made by the A.A. Green Company of Providence, Rhode Island. The company was established by Augustus A. Greene in 1892 and the name was changed to A.A. Greene Company about 1904.
Overall, this bracelet is in lovely, wearable condition. The box clasp is snug. The round picture frames and celluloids are present. However, there is a dent to the front of the locket and the locket clasp is finicky and does not always stay shut. I believe a jeweler experienced with antique jewelry could adjust this easily. Due to this issue, the bracelet will be SOLD AS IS, WITH NO RETURN or REFUND.
