Vintage Oversized Art Deco Locket with Engraved Flower Basket on 20 Inch Necklace. The fancy shaped locket has stepped and scalloped edges framing engraved flowers in a basket. The locket open with righ hand hinge and has two large oval photo frames with original cellophane photo covers T he locket is suspended from a new 20" 14K gold filled replacement rolo chain.
ERA: Art Deco, 1940s
Hallmark/History: Chain is stamped 14/20 GF (for 14K Gold Filled) and the hallmark of the Garlan Chain Company, a Massachusetts-based chain manufacturer.
Metal/Materials: 1/20 12K Gold-Filled Locket (tested), 14K Gold-Filled Chain
Measurements: Chain measures 20" long; Locket measures 2 1/8" long (to top of bale) by 1 1/4" wide
Condition: Very good vintage condition, with minor signs of surface wear.
