Antique Lady's Gold Filled Necklace Chain for Watch, Lorgnette, Muff, or Locket. Made about 1900, this long rope link watch chain has a rectangular shaped slide, measuring 7.5mm X 6.6mm X 4.26mm. The slide charm is decorated on three sides with one opal cabochon, four natural seed pearls, and two lab created rubies. The rope chain is 51 inches long (including the clasp) and is finished with a balloon clasp to hold a pendant watch, lorgnette, muff or locket. Watch chains like this are wonderful doubled or worn as bracelets wrapped around the wrist.
In Very Good Vintage Condition, with expected surface wear. The slide moves freely now, but you could recork it if you want it in fixed location.
