Antique Enamel and Pearl Bar Pin. Made in the Edwardian era, this bar pin has the feeling of a late Victorian mourning pin. The long, thin bar brooch has a 2.5mm seed pear bead set in the center, with scrolling white enamel and plain black enamel decoration and engraved edge decoration.
The pin is 2 1/4 inches long and 3/16 inch wide. It is finished with an early safety clasp that is stamped 14K and has the C inside arrowhead maker's mark of Carter, Gough & Company.

METAL/MATERIAL: 14K Gold, Black and White Enamel, Natural Seed Pearl
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: 14K and C in arrowhead mark of Carter, Gouch & Company of Newark, NJ. The mark seems to have been in use from about 1902-1922.
CONDITION: Excellent Vintage Condition. There is no damage noted, but there is a small raised bump created by hand graving.
