Vintage David F. Garcia Navajo Sterling Turquoise Coral Watch Cuff Bracelet Applied Leaves Dew Drops -1960s Silver - Native American Jewelry
Vintage Navajo Turquoise and Coral Watch Band Cuff Bracelet of Sterling Silver. This beautiful watch bracelet was made in the 1960s and features two turquoise cabochons and two cabochons of Mediterranean red coral. All stones are set in dog tooth bezels. Three are also applied leaf, dew drop, and twist rope decorations. Made by Navajo artisan David Fletcher Garcia.
The 1 1/4" wide cuff is made of sterling silver sheet and has heavy edge decoration and twists. The center area would accommodate a watch up to 1 1/4 inch tall, with lug space up to 7/8 inch. The length is 6 inch from end to end, with a 1 inch gap. Total wearable length is 7 inches. There is a Timex watch in the cuff currently and it seems to run.
Stamped on the interior David F. Garcia and acid tests as sterling silver. The bracelet weighs 84.6 grams.
