Timeless Bill Tendler Sterling Collar Necklace. Artist Bill Tendler made jewelry in Greenwich village, New York in the 1950s and 1960s. His hand made pieces are elegantly designed and hand crafted and commanded high prices even in the mid-century era. This collar necklace features five curved bars of square silver rods, all connected by four uniquely shaped hand made jump rings. The necklace is finished with oval link chan that allows the wearer to adjust the length up to approximately 17 1/2" by use of the hook clasp. The piece is stamped TENDLER and STERLING. In Excellent vintage condition, with expected patina but no damage noted.
