I am listing a number of authentic antique hat pins from my personal collection right now.
Charles Horner Sterling Silver and Purple Glass Art Nouveau Antique Hat Pin. The thistle and curving knot is a iconic Horner design. The head measures 1 3/4 inch X 1 1/4 inch X 1 inch. It is attached by collar finding to a 10" inch steel shaft. As would be expected with the age of this piece, the shaft has darkened. The silver is also cracked in the "lower" loop on the knot, just where the two parts cross. I have left this pin unpolished. Stamped with the CH (for Charles Horner) touch mark, the Chester England Assay office stamp, and the script H date mark for 1910.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: CH for Charles Horner, along with assay stamp for Chester, and letter date code H for 1910
SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: 1 3/4" X 1 1/4" X 1" at head and 11 1/2" long in total
CONDITION: Fair Antique Condition. The shaft has darkened and the silver is cracked on the lower tube where the knot loops.
