I am listing a number of authentic antique hat pins from my personal collection right now.
Originally made in the Victorian Era, the pin shaft of this beauty was shortened, likely when the smaller hats and cloches appeared in the Art Deco Era. This hatpin features a spherical head made of hand decorated Japanese Satsuma porcelain. The decoration is six Geisha or Noblewomen, some holding fans or mirrors. The pottery head is 1 inch in diameter and the total length of the piece is 5 inches. There is some minor loss to the gold decoration.
