Vintage Art Deco Micro Mosaic Floral Brooch of glass tiles set inside a green peking glass molded frame, all of which are set in a brass mounting with filigree and geometric frame accents. Made in the 1920s in Italy, with a bouquet of flowers made by cutting individual tesserae tiles from longer glass tubes. Each piece was then set in place by hand to create the bouquet design. A Peking glass border mimicking light green jade surrounds the arrangement, and is set into a plated brass mounting. Its back features a rollover safety pin stem. This incredible brooch is unmarked and in its original as-found condition. The buyer is welcome to polish the discoloration from the frame, or leave it in its original condition for an antique look.
