Vintage Sterling Silver Lab Created Blue Spinel Ring. An oval faceted pale blue lab created spinel is set in four prongs atop a shank with ribbed and decorated shoulders. The ring is a size 7. Stamped Sterling B.G. with C&C mark of Clark and Coombs on the inner shank, the ring is in very good vintage condition with minor abrasion to some stone facets and some minor surface wear, consistent with age.
ERA: Mid Century, 1940s
METAL/MATERIAL: Sterling Silver and Lab Created Spinel
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Sterling B.G. and C & C in triangles mark of Clark and Coombs, first used in 1923 in their Providence, RI location.
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor abrasions facet edges. There is normal wear and no damage noted.
MEASUREMENTS: The head of the ring measures 10.2 mm X 8.1 mm and the shank tapers to 2.4 mm at the reverse.
WEIGHT: 2.1 grams
