Vintage Sterling Silver Thundebird Southwestern Style. The thunderbird is a supernatural creature signifying strength and power. This 1970's vintage sterling silver ring is an extraordinary example of how a thunderbird can turn a regular piece of jewelry into an original statement accessory. The ring features an oxidized black geometrical thunderbird design positioned between two diagonal grooves ridged with boldly etched lines. This size 7 1/2 ring measures 44" wide across the top, and weighs in at 4 grams.
We purchased the collection of new old stock inventory from a closed trading post style store that ceased operation in the 1980s. This piece comes from that collection and was never worn.
