Pair of Gorham Sterling Silver Master Salt Cellars and Spoons or Dips in Fitted Box. These beautiful salt cellars have gold washed interiors. The overall shape of each is generally ovalish with chamfered corner details. Each measures 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 7/8". Each is marked on the underside with the Gorham standing lion, anchor and G, as well as Sterling, and A8399 and the spoon outline date mark that corresponds to 1920. Each salt spoon has a round bowl and tipped handle end. They measure 2 3/8" long and the bowls are 5/8" across and have gold wash on interior. Each is marked on the reverse with the Gorham standing lion, anchor and G, as well as Sterling, and H205.
The total weight of all four pieces is 38.2 grams. All pieces are in Very Good Antique Condition with minor dark spots inside the cellars.
The set is in the original velvet-lined fitted box from J. W. Mather & Son Parkersburg , W. VA.
