Art Deco Sterling Cigarette Case. This antique cigarette or card case has a hammered finish that is accented by engine turned engraved stripes on the front. There is also a rectangular cartouche that has been hand engraved with A.F.F. The reverse of the case has an all-over hammered pattern.
The inside of the case has a spring arm to hold the cigarettes in place. The lip of the case is marked Sterling and has an A in Triangle mark that I believe is that of Attleboro Mfg. Co., which closed in 1922.

HALLMARK: Sterling and A in Triangle maker's mark that I believe is the mark of Attleboro Mfg. Co.
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with all of the surface patina and subtle scratches expected. The spring is a bit loose on the arm inside. And there are some scratches on the inside of the case.
MEASUREMENTS: The case measures 4 1/8 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide. The case is 3/8 inch thick.
