Antique Gold Filled Heart Locket with Paste Fleur De Lis by Wightman & Hough. Simply elegant, this little locket makes a most romantic declaration of your feelings. The soft shine of the locket finish is enhanced with an engraved fleur de lis set with six foil backed paste stones. The fleur de lis has been said to represent purity. The locket is in very good condition for its age, with a tight snap, and original photo frames and celluloid cover intact. There is some darkening of the stones, as should be expected.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: W&H CO in a heart, the mark of Wightman & Hough Company, which operated in Providence, Rhode island from 1856 to 1922. The chain is marked O.M.D. 1/20-12K
MEASUREMENTS: Chain measures 15.5" long; Locket measures 15/16" long (including bale) by 5/8" wide
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition with original celluloid photo covers. Darkening of most foil back paste stones, as expected in a piece that is more than 100 years old.
