Expansion bracelets were popular gifts in the early part of the last century, continuing through WWII, and were typically given to girls or young women. This particular sweetheart bracelet features an emerald green rhinestone flower with leaf accents. The curved expansion links alternate between repousse decorated rose gold and plain finish yellow links.
The floral plaque measures measures 1 3/8 x 3/4 inches and the bracelet, which has s links with alternating embossed and plain finishes, is 5/8 inch wide.
Although this is a stretch bracelet, it is designed for a smaller wrist and measures 5 3/4 inches in circumference in resting position.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Stamped L.S. Co. 1/20 - 12K G.F. on Sterling and 1/20 - 12K G.F. on Sterling. The Louis Stern Company originally operated in Providence, Rhode Island from 1871 to about 1950.
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with tarnish that should be easy to remove. The bracelet is tight and has never been overstretched and the locket itself is practically like new.
SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: 3/4 inch wide at the heart, 5/8 inch wide at the stretch portion, and 5 3/4 inch in inner diameter (wearable size).
