Vintage Art Moderne Simulated Topaz Silver Ring.This bold statement ring dates from the 1940s and was made in Providence Rhode Island by Uncas. One large scissor-cut topaz colored glass stone is accented by two small round clear glass stones on each shoulder. The center stone is set in a four prong basket mount with scrolled detail and the accent stones are bead set.
The center stone measures 18.2 mm x 13.4 mm. The shank is 2.6 mm wide at reverse. Stamped Sterling with Uncas mark on inside of shank.
The piece is in Very Good Vintage Condition, with scratches and facet edge abrasions to the glass stone, consistent with age and normal wear.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Sterling and Uncas maker's mark with left facing arrow cutting through U. Uncas was founded in Providence, RI in 1911 and is still in operation.
