Vintage Mexican Silver Huge Smoky Quartz Pendant. This over sized artisan hand made pendant features a square cut Smoky Quartz set in a solid sterling pendant with dog tooth bezel and a pierced frame of alternating shiny and florentine stripes with scallop detail. The stone has a rich, even color and deep saturation. According to calculation by measurement, the stone weighs approximately 70 carats.
Finished with a large bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor scratches to the table of the stone.

STONE: Large Smoky Quartz weighing approximately 70 CT, as estimated by measurement
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: MEX 925. This mark likely predates the eagle marks instituted in 1948.
