Antique 10K Rosy Yellow Gold 1914 Class Ring Parkersburg High School PHS WV. Our local high school is somewhat legendary as the first high school in the state of West Virginia. Founded in 1867, the school moved into the "new building" in 1917. And yes, that building is still in use!
The ring is a rosy yellow gold, with an even pinker center oval placard reading PHS in raised letters. 19 and 14 are hand engraved on each side of the monogram.
ERA: Edwardian, 1914
METAL/MATERIAL: 10K Yellow and Rosy Gold
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: 10K BB Co in shield, which is the maker's mark for Bastion Bros. Company of Rochester, NY. The initials LEP are also hand engraved inside the band.
CONDITION: Good Vintage Condition, with hand engraved number 4 a bit worn.
MEASUREMENTS: The head measures 12.2 mm wide and the shank tapers to 2.6 mm at the reverse of the shank.
RING SIZE: 1.5
WEIGHT: 2.9 gram
