Vintage 14K Yellow Gold and Multi Colored Gem Stone Link Necklace. Made in the 1960s, this necklace features twelve bezel set carved oval hard stone scarabs.
ERA: Mid Century, 1960s
METAL/MATERIALS: 14K Yellow Gold and Carved Scarabs of Moss Agate, Sodalite, Black Onyx, Banded Agate, Amethyst, Amazonite, Petrified Wood, Rhodochrsite, Blood Stone, Dyed Green Agate, and Citrine
HALLMARK: 14K Italy Unoaerre with the star and 1AR mark of the Unoaerre company, located in Arezzo
CONDITION: Good vintage condition, with minor wear to finish consistent with age
MEASUREMENTS: The necklace is 16" long and approximately 0.5" wide. Each scarab measures approximately 10 mm x 12.5 mm.

This is a beautiful piece - even nicer in hand than in the photos. I didn't think to ask about the length and was surprised to find that it's a choker. Happily my neck is on the small side, so it fits perfectly.
