Bell Trading Turquoise Thunderbird Mans Ring Sterling Silver Size 9.25 New Old Stock - Vintage Southwestern Jewelry - Like New Never Worn

Vintage Sterling Oval Turquoise Thunderbird Man's Ring by Bell Trading Post. This men's ring is a new old stock ring with an oval cabochon of stabilized bright blue turquoise with brown matrix. Most commercial turquoise used in jewelry is stabilized. As with all turquoise, the stone should not be exposed to caustic chemicals.

The turquoise cabochon measures 19.5 mm x 13.5 mm. Each shoulder is decorated with a bold Thunderbird. The ring is approximately 25 mm wide and the shank tapers to 6 mm at the reverse. The ring is a size 9.25.

Made by Bell Trading Post in Albuquerque, NM, the company best known for Fred Harvey era jewelry. The plate behind the stone is stamped Bell Sterling with the Bell Trading Post bell shaped hallmark on the inside.

In very good, unworn vintage condition, with no damage of any sort noted.

We purchased the collection of new old stock inventory from a closed trading post style store that ceased operation in the 1980s. This piece comes from that collection and was never worn.
