Man's Vintage Sterling Silver Abalone Shell Ring New Old Stock by Bell Trading Post. This ring is gorgeous and heavy. It is New Old Stock from the 1970's. The mounting features a bezel set rectangular abalone shell cabochon with lively purple and lavender hues. The shoulders feature "stamped" deep Vs. Made by Bell Trading Company, the ring has the Bell with sun ray mark on the reverse of the stone setting. The abalone cabochon measures 20 mm tall and 14 mm wide.
The ring measures approximately 28 mm wide at the front and tapers to 5.6 mm at the reverse.
In Excellent Vintage Condition. The ring was never worn.
We purchased the collection of new old stock inventory from a closed trading post style store that ceased operation in the 1980s. This piece comes from that collection and was never worn.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Sterling on underside of the stone mounting, with the bell surrounded by sun rays. This is the mark used by Sunbell of Bell Trading of Albuquerque, NM ,used from 1972 until the company closed.
CONDITION: In excellent, unworn vintage condition.
WEIGHT: 21.3 grams
MEASUREMENTS: 28 mm at the stone, tapering to 5.6 mm at the reverse.
