Set of 12 Victorian Nut Picks of Mother of Pearl and Silver Plate in Original Box. Victorians had a love for finery and developed specialized cutlery and serving pieces for every conceivable edible. These nut picks are an example of the fancy tableware mandatory for wealthy families of the time.
A dozen nutpicks with mother of pearl shell handles and silver plated picks and ferrules are contained in their original fitted box with satin lining and velvet exterior. Each pick is 4 3/4 inches long and the box is approximately 5 1/2 inches by 7 inches.
The picks are in very good vintage condition, with minor surface wear and in need of polishing. The box is well worn, consistent with its age.

MEASUREMENTS: Each pick is approximately 4.75" long.
