Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Aztec Warrior with Feathers Mask Brooch with Carved Petrified Wood. A very large carved brown and black carved primitive Aztec warrior of mahogany obsidian is set in this mask brooch with decorative head dress that has deeply embossed decoration, as well as dangling hoop earrings and dangling feathers at the necklace. Made in the 1960s, the pin is stamped on the reverse: 925 Taxco Mexico around LCJ, number 3 eagle, and a second Mexico stamp.
The pin has a roll over safety and has had an added removable pendant bale.
In excellent vintage condition. This pin seems to have been worn very little.
