Antique Edwardian 14K Yellow Gold Round Brooch Set with Natural Seed Pearls and Lab Created Light Blue Sapphires. The round pin has machine engraving as well as cutwork foliate filigree and an open bar center, all very typical for Edwardian jewelry. This 1 inch diameter Edwardian brooch was made by Krementz of Newark, NJ in the late 1910s or early 1920s. It is set with nine natural seed pearls ranging in size from 2.5 to 3 mm and four round faceted lab-created light sapphires that are bead set and measure approximately 2.5 mm in diameter.
Stamped 14K on the safety clasp, the pin is in very good antique condition, with normal wear and no damage noted.
