Beautiful antique hand carved shell cameo brooch of Hera or Juno, Queen of the Gods, set in 10 karat yellow gold plain frame. The carving is delicate and fine, with lovely detail to the curls and crown of the figure in the portrait. Finished with an early safety clasp, appropriate to the period.
