Retro Vintage Sterling Silver Floating Opal Pendant Necklace from the 1930s. Chips of natural opals gemstones are suspended in glycerin inside a glass orb capped with a stippled and etched sterling four-petaled cap. Each of the chips has lovely play of color and there is no discoloration to the liquid or stones.
The pendant has a fold over bale and is suspended on a replacement 20 inch long rolo chain of sterling silver. The chain is marked 925 GC on the spring ring and the fancy bale of the pendant is marked 925 with an unknown maker's mark.
In very good vintage condition, with no damage aside from glue under the four petal cap.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Stamped 925 on reverse of decorative bale with unknown maker's mark. Also stamped 925 GC on spring ring of chain.
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with no damage noted aside from glue under the ornament at the top. Previously owned and worn.
SIZE/MEASUREMENT: Pendant measures 1 3/8 inch by 3/8 inch. The chain is 20" long.
