Art Deco Flower Basket Necklace Blue Chalcedony Marcasite 900 Silver - Antique Continental Pendant
Art Deco Blue Chalcedony Marcasite Flower Basket 900 Silver Pendant Necklace. This lovely necklace features a fancy basket of flowers in silver and marcasite rivet-mounted atop an oval cabochon of blue chalcedony. The pendant has a twisted frame also set with marcasites and topped with a bow and a movable bale. The pendant is stamped 900 on the reverse with hallmarks that appear to be a flower and six pointed star. We believe the piece may be German in origin, but have been unable to identify the mark.
The pendant is suspended on a 24" sterling silver rope chain of later manufacture. The chain is marked Sterling on both the spring ring and attached tag.
In excellent vintage condition. This pendant seems to have been worn very little.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Stamped 900 on reverse, with two unidentified hallmarks or maker's marks.
CONDITION: Excellent Vintage Condition, with no damage noted. All stones present and secure.
SIZE/MEASUREMENT: Pendant measures 1 1/2" by 13/16 inch. The chain is 24" long.
WEIGHT: 7.6 grams
