Magnificent Morenci Turquoise and Sterling Silver Southwestern Bracelet. The gorgeous natural slab of Morenci calico pattern turquoise is the star of this incredible bracelet made in the 1970s and offered for sale in a Trading Post store that closed in the 1980s. The beautiful rich blue turquoise has both pyrite (fool's gold) inclusions and tan veining and spots.
The stone itself measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" and is set in a hand cut scalloped bezel that is surrounded by a plain heavy gauge wire bezel with stamped accents. The stone is mounted on top of an eleven band tapered bracelet with applied silver decorations.
The bracelet measures approximately 3 1/2 inch by 3 inch at the top and the bracelet taper to 1 5/8 inch at the reverse. The inner circumference measures approximately 6 1/2 inches, 5 1/2 inch from end to end, with a 1" opening gap.
The weight of the bracelet is 242 grams!
