Vintage Art Deco 18K Yellow Gold Oval Faceted Carnelian Ring Size 7
This pretty little ring carries a bit of a mystery. We have not been able to identify the country of origin, but that does not diminish its beauty.
An oval of faceted carnelian is set pavilion side up in an 18K yellow gold four prong mounting. The stone measures 11.75mm x 9.25mm x 3.8mm. The total weight is 1.8 grams.
The shank is stamped on the outside T18 with an oval cartouche that seems to contain a leaf. The ring has been tested as 18K.
The ring has been worn and loved and there is a bend to the gallery under the stone, so we would grade it as Good Vintage Condition.
