These sparkling beauties resemble caged hearts crowned with flourishes and have a very intricate sculptural quality to them. Made by Coro's upscale Vendome division, they likely date from the mid 1950s. The brooch and clip on earrings are all made in a three-dimensional style with teardrop and round crystals set elevated above fields of round rhinestones.
The brooch measures approximately 3 inches long and is 1 3/4 inches wide and about 3/4 inch deep. It is finished with an attached pin stem with roll over safety catch and has a soldered Vendome plaque on the reverse.
The earrings each measure approximately 1 3/4 inch x 1 inch x 3/4 inch. They have clip backs with screw tension adjusters for comfort and are marked Vendome.
All pieces are in Very Good Vintage Condition with no damage notes aside from some yellowing to the stones. For some reason, this is very pronounced in the photos, but not as noticeable in natural light or in the lights of our office.
