This antique gold filled safety watch chain would have been attached to a belt or vest button. It was made about 1900 -1910 and features three gate link chain sections with scrolled caps and fancy clip, as well as an attached octagonal fob made of gold-stone glass with beveled edges. There is a safety chain with swivel watch clip attached to the fancy clip.
The entire piece is 5 inches long and the chain section is 14.4 mm wide. The fob measures 21.6 mm across.
Tests as Gold Filled. Swivel Hook is marked L.W.R. and the clip is marked Pat'd.
In Very Good Vintage Condition, with normal surface wear associated with age and minor "fleabite" chips around the edge of the fob.
