It is always a thrill to find a full set of matching jewelry! This gorgeous mid-century modern sterling set was originally purchased in the 1950s.
Made by Aarre & Krogh, the sterling silver Boomerang parure includes a small necklace, matching bracelet, clip on earrings and large brooch. Aarre & Krogh operated in Randers Denmark from 1949-1990. Their work all demonstrates excellent craftsmanship and this set is one of their more elegant minimalist designs.
The necklace is very short at 14.5 inches long, so please make sure to measure your neck if you intend to wear this set! It is approximately 10 mm wide. The collar is finished beautifully with a hidden hook clasp.
The bracelet is 7 inches long and 10 mm wide, with the same hidden clasp.
As you can see in the images, you can easily join the necklace and bracelet to make a necklace that is 21.5 inches long, a more wearable length for many.
The earrings measure approximately 10 mm x 35 mm and are finished with clip backs.
The brooch measures approximately 1 inch x 2 5/8 inch and is finished with a straight pin stem and roll over safety catch.
The Total Weight of the set is 56.7 grams.
Each piece is stamped Sterling A & K Denmark. In Very Good Vintage Condition with normal surface wear associated with age and minor tarnish that can be polished off.
