A friend's father had a habit of buying duplicate jewelry item when he traveled abroad for business. He would then give one piece to his wife, one to his mother, and a third to my friend, when she was a bit older.
These two delicate brooches are the souvenirs of a South American business trip in the 1970s. Hand made, each pin features two dangling, movable fuchsia blossoms of lightly tinted rose gold hanging from leaves of stippled yellow gold.
