Victorian Staurolite Cross Pendant Necklace. This staurolite stone cross with gold filled bale and chain. Staurolite is a mineral that can actually form in cross shapes that are also called Fairy Crosses. This stone naturally formed in this cross shape and was not carved! The pendant is currently suspended from a 16 inch long curb chain with spring ring closure stamped 1-20 12K . In very good vintage condition with no damage noted.
ERA: Edwardian, 1920s
METAL/MATERIALS: Staurolite Stone Cross and 12K Gold Filled
HALLMARK: Cross is unmarked. Chain is marked 1-20 12K.
MEASUREMENTS: 1 1/8 inches long (including bale), 1/2 inch wide
CONDITION: Very good antique condition, with no damage noted. Previously owned and worn.
