Vintage Oval Locket Necklace. Made in the 1960s, this oval locket has an unusual polished bezel around the front of the piece. The locket has a florentine finish with bright cut engraved flower and the back of the locket is plain with polished finish. The locket measures 1 1/4" (including bale) X 5/8" and is suspended from a 20" long curb new rolo chain. In very good vintage condition, with no damage noted.
ERA: Mid Century, 1960s
METAL/MATERIAL: Gold Tone Alloy and 14K Gold Filled
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: The locket is unmarked and the chain's spring ring clasp is stamped with "14/20 GF" and the hallmark of the Garlan Chain Company, a Massachusetts-based chain manufacturer.
SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Locket measures 1 1/2" X 5/8" and Chain is 20" long
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with no damage noted. Previously owned and worn.
