Vintage Large Marquise Citrine Sterling Silver Ring. Made about 1940, this sleek ring makes an elegant presentation of an oversized marquise citrine. The stone is held in place with four solid prongs and a simple gallery set atop a simple, but strong raised mounting. The head of the ring measures 1 1/8" x 5/8", with the table of the stone 1/2" above the finger. The ring is size 5 1/2 and is in very good vintage vintage condition with no damage to the stone and very minimal wear and patina to the mounting.
ERA: Mid Century Modern, 1960s
METAL/MATERIAL: Sterling Silver and Citrine that weighs approximately 15 CT, as estimated by weight.
HALLMARK/HISTORY: Sterling
SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Ring measures 30 mm wide at head and shank is 2.6 mm wide at reverse.
WEIGHT: 6.7 grams
RING SIZE: 5 1/2
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor surface wear and patina to silver appropriate to its age. Previously owned and worn.
