Vintage Mexican 925 Sterling Silver Ring with Color-Changing Lab-Created Sapphire. A large 13mm diameter faceted lab-created sapphire is set with six square prongs atopa swirl design ring with etched pattern. Stones like this were often used in vintage pieces to imitate Alexandrite, often, they change color in natural versus incandescent light and they glow bright red under black light. The ring is size 6 1/2. In very good condition and marked Taxco Mex 925 with unknown maker's mark. With minor scuffs appropriate to age and no damage noted.

MEASUREMENTS: Head of ring measures 21.7 mm wide, with a domed shank 3.6 mm wide.

WEIGHT: 7.7 grams
CONDITION: In very good vintage condition, with patina and wear consistent with age. Previously owned and worn.
