Vintage 14K Gold Filled Overlay Tiny Locket Necklace. This beautiful tiny engraved oval locket is the perfect addition to your necklace stack or charm jumble! The sweet little locket features an engraved script G on a florentine ground. The locket has no photo frames and does not seem to have ever had any. The locket measures 3/4" X 1/2". Suspended from a new 20" gold filled rolo chain with spring ring clasp. The piece is in Good Vintage Condition with very minor surface scratches. Opens easily and closes securely with a snap.
ERA: Mid Century, 1960s
METAL/MATERIALS: 14K Gold Filled (chain) and 14K Gold Overlay (locket)
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Locket is marked B.A.B 1-20-14K G.O., while the bale is marked 1/20 12K G.F. and the chain is marked 14/20 GF G. The locket was made by B.A. Ballou of Providence, RI and the chain was made by Garlan Chain of N. Attleboro, MA.
MEASUREMENTS: Locket measures 3/4" long (including bale) by 1/2" wide. Chain measures 20" long.
WEIGHT: 2.5 grams
CONDITION: Good Vintage Condition with very minor surface scratches. Previously owned and worn.
