Vintage Sterling Silver Engraved Oval Locket Necklace. Made about 1970, this pretty oval locket has all-over floral and scroll engraving, with a bright cut accents. Suspended from a 22" sterling drawn curb chain. The locket is marked Sterling on the interior and the chain is marked STG for Sterling. The left side hinge works smoothly and the locket snaps securely shut. In Fair to Good vintage condition, the necklace has been worn and loved and has some surface scratches, as well as some spots of discoloration, especially inside the cover.

METAL/MATERIALS: 925 Sterling Silver
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: The locket is stamped Sterling. Chain is stamped STG with an illegible maker's mark.
MEASUREMENTS: Locket measures 1 1/4" long (including bale) by 5/8" wide and Chain measures 22" long.
CONDITION: In Fair to Good vintage condition, the necklace has been worn and loved and has some surface scratches, as well as some spots of discoloration, especially inside the cover. Previously owned and worn.
