Vintage Sterling Silver Jargoon Brooch. Made in the 1940s, this gorgeous Georgian Revival brooch has intricate detailing focusing on a blue emerald cut glass stone and accented by 28 rose cut clear natural zircons (which were historically known as "jargoons". The stones are all bead or prong set. The brooch measures approximately 2.25" X 1 1/8" and is finished with a trombone clasp on the pin mechanism. In Very Good Vintage Condition with appropriate minor wear and patina and no damage noted.
