Antique Gold Filled Round Locket Necklace. Lockets are the perfect way to hold precious photos of tokens close to your heart. They make a wonderful romantic gift, but are also fun to collect and wear in layers! Made about 1915, this round vintage locket is ready for your pictures or keepsakes. The round bloomed finish locket features a shield shaped cartouche topped with a ribbon bow, accented with four paste stones, framed by a classic decorative border. The locket measures 1 3/8 in diameter and is hinged at the bottom, opening from the top. It is suspended from an 18 inch gold filled rolo chain finished with a thumb ring clasp. In fair to good vintage condition, with one long scuff to the bloomed finish on front, darkened stones, and scattered discoloration to the finish on reverse of locket (but no roughness). The hinge works nicely and locket closes securely.
