Antique Ostby Barton 10K Gold Clad wedding Band. Made by Ostby Barton, this thick band has rounded inner and outer surfaces, making it comfortable to wear. It is a size 6, weighs 3.7 grams, and measures 3.95 mm wide.
The ring is marked with an early Ostby Barton mark for their gold clad line of jewelry. The firm was founded in 1879 and continued through the 1920s. Ostby Barton is well known not only for their high quality jewelry, but because one of the founders, Englebart Ostby perished in the crash of the Titanic.
