Vintage Blue Topaz Diamond Ring. A pear shaped blue topaz stone with light blue color is set in three prongs atop a ballerina mounting of white gold with fourteen single cut diamonds bead set in illusion setting. The ring has a split shank and is a size 5.5 The ring was made in the 1980s and in Very Good Vintage Condition with no damage noted.
ERA: Modern Vintage, 1980s
METAL/MATERIAL: 10K Yellow Gold
STONE: Pear Faceted Blue Topaz, enhanced by heat and irradiation, as is typical with blue topazes. Topaz weighs approximately 1.5 CT, as estimated by measurement. The fourteen single cut diamonds have a combined estimated weight of .10 CT TW,
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: 10KP and IL maker's mark. The P stands for "plumb" confirming it is made of exactly 10K solid gold.
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with very minor surface wear. Previously owned and worn.
MEASUREMENTS: Head measures 13.7 mm wide and the shank tapers to 1.6 mm at the reverse of the shank.
RING SIZE: 5.5
WEIGHT: 2 grams
