Vintage 14K Mid Century Modern Cultured Pearl Pendant Necklace. This mid century modern organic pendant of 14K yellow gold features a 6.8 mm pearl set between two florentine finished 14K yellow gold leaves. The 5/8" X 3/4" pendant is finished with a rabbit ear bale and is suspended from a 15 " 12K gold filled rolor chain finished with a spring ring. It is in Good Vintage Condition, with minor wear consistent with age, including wear to the inner edges of the bale.
ERA: mid Century Modern, 1960s
METAL/MATERIAL: 14K Yellow Gold Pendant (tested) and 12K Gold Filled Chain.
STONE: 6.8 mm Akoya Cultured Pearl
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Pendant is unmarked, but tests as 14K Gold. Chain is marked 1/20 12K GF.
CONDITION: Good Vintage Condition, with some wear to the inner edges of the bale. Previously owned and worn.
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 5/8" X 3/4" and suspended from a 15" chain
WEIGHT: 2.8 gram (Pendant Only)

The pendant is lovely and a nice size and weight. However, I intended to put on a longer chain; the bail is too small. It will take some work to make wearable. For necklaces I suggest giving indication as to whether or not pendant is removable.
