Vintage Heart Ribbon Bow Rolled Gold Plate Brooch. What a sweet little pin! This rolled gold plate heart shaped brooch is topped with a ribbon bow and is reminiscent of a Luckenbooth brooch. These brooches are typically sold in Edinburgh Scotland. They are traditional Scottish love tokens frequently given as engagement or wedding gifts. The pin has the C clasp and hinged pin mechanism expected for the period. It also have a fold down loop at the top of the ribbon that allows the piece to be worn as a necklace pendant. In Good Vintage Condition, with minor surface wear commensurate with age.
