Vintage Goldette Purple Crystal Fringe Necklace. Made in the 1970s, this piece demonstrates the high quality associated with Goldette costume jewelry. Romantic style that incorporates Victorian elements, heavy plating, and quality glass component are all signatures of Goldette. This particular necklace seems to be "Victorian-meets-Boho". It features an inverted triangular antique gold tone element with four round faceted glass crystals in open settings, accented with gold tone ball decoration. The triangle is further decorated with seven long drops of twist-covered bars terminating in bezel set purple crystal dangles. The wearable length of the swag necklace is 21 inches and the decorative drop adds an addition 4 inches. The necklace is finished with spring ring clasp. In very good vintage condition with no damage noted.

METAL/MATERIALS: Gold Tone Alloy and Purple Crystal
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Goldette with registration mark on oval plaque on reverse of triangle element. Goldette was made in New York from 1958 to about 1977.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition, with no damage noted. Previously owned and worn.
MEASUREMENTS: Wearable length of the necklace is 21 inches and the central element measures 2 3/8 X 4 inches (including dangles)
