Vintage Carved Jadeite Koi Fish Brooch. Made about 1950, this brooch features a carved fish of multicolored jadeite in peach, orange, and brown. The fish is set atop a frame of sterling silver vermeil with a pin stem of base metal. Finished with a roll over clasp. In good vintage condition, with with minor chips to the fins noted.
ERA: Mid Century, 1950s
METAL/MATERIAL: Sterling Silver Vermeil and Carved Jadeite (tested)
HALLMARK: Unmarked (frame tests as 925 Sterling Silver)
MEASUREMENTS: 1 1/4" X 5/8"
CONDITION: Good Vintage Condition, with minor chips to the fins noted. Previously owned and worn.
