This bold bar pin is the epitome of late 1970s style, with a knot or bow tie design executed in 925 sterling silver with applied stripes of 18K yellow gold. The piece was made by New York jeweler Michael Bondanza, who began his career in the 1970s. He provided jewelry for companies including Cartier in that time frame.
The brooch has an attached pin mechanism with roll over safety. In very good vintage condition with no damage noted.
