Vintage 14K Gold Heart and Bow Locket Necklace from The Silversmith Shops of Colonial Williamsburg. According to the included paperwork, this beautiful locket suspended from a triple loop bow was "based on the eighteenth-century jewelry designs of Denis Diderot and John Henri Pouget."
The heart shaped locket opens to contain two photos or other mementos, The locket measures approximately 1 3/8 inch tall including the bow and 3/4 inch wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition with minor surface wear consistent with age.
ERA: Modern Vintage, pre-2005
METAL/MATERIALS: 14K Yellow Gold
HALLMARK: 14K BAB for Ballou, which was established in 1868 in Providence, RI.
CONDITION: Very Good vintage condition, with minor surface wear and no damage noted. Previously owned and worn.
MEASUREMENT: Locket 3/4 inch across and 1 3/8 inch tall with the bale and is suspended from an 18 inch chain.
WEIGHT: 5.9 grams
Arrives in original box from Colonial Williamsburg, along with original pamphlets!
