Vintage Goldette Opal Glass Locket Triple Chain Layered Necklace. Made in the 1960s, this piece demonstrates the high quality associated with Goldette costume jewelry. Romantic style that incorporates Victorian elements and heavy plating are signatures of Goldette. This necklace features a framed side-opening locket pendant with pocket watch form accented with eight faux opal cabochons of foiled glass. The ornate pendant is suspended from the shorter of two snail chains and there is also a curb chain. The longest chain is 36 inches and the locket measures approximately 1 1/2 inch X 2 inch. The necklace is finished with a fold over clasp at ornate chain connectors. In very good vintage condition, with very minor finish wear commensurate with age and no damage noted
